Graham Wylie
Non-Executive Director
Graham is a qualified accountant who has spent the last 20 years specializing in the development of start-up technology companies in the computer and computer peripherals sector. In 1980 he co-founded Immediate Business Systems plc ("IBS"), which was listed in 1982 and sold in 1989. IBS developed and marketed the first UK portable computing device.
In 1991 Graham joined Xaar plc as Finance Director, becoming Chief Executive in 1993, where he steered the company through successive rounds of venture capital funding, a private placing in 1996, and flotation on the Official List in 1997. Xaar, based in Cambridge, is a world leader in ink jet printing technology. Graham is also an advisor to seed capital providers, Hotbed Limited, and a member of the Business Mentor Programme for the University of Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre. Graham joined U4EA Technologies, Ltd., as a Non-Executive Director in September 2001.
Brendan Murphy
Non-Executive Director
Brendan Murphy is a senior member of IIU Nominees Limited's corporate finance team with responsibility for managing a portfolio of IIU's investments. Prior to joining IIU, he was Director of Finance at Glen Dimplex Limited and, prior to this, a senior manager at Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance in Dublin and Amsterdam.
Brendan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and an MBA from Fordham University, New York.
Columb Harrington
Group CEO - Executive Director
Columb trained as an accountant in Ireland and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Prior to joining U4EA Technologies, Ltd., Columb had extensive involvement in corporate deals in London in the brewery sector, more recently as Chief Financial Officer of Inn Business PLC, which was acquired by Punch Taverns in 1998. Columb joined U4EA Technologies, Ltd., as Chief Financial Officer in May 2000 and was subsequently appointed Chief Executive of U4EA Technologies, Ltd., in August 2000.
Martin Nielsen
Group COO - Executive Director
Prior to U4EA Technologies, Ltd., Martin trained within the corporate debt, capital, and project finance markets having worked with Barclays Bank International, BZW, and Barclays Capital in New York, Amsterdam, and London. He has extensive experience in the origination, structuring, and completion of debt raising and debt advisory transactions within the corporate, acquisition, project, and export finance arenas in the telecommunications, transportation, power, and medical equipment sectors.
Paul Dawson
Group CFO - Executive Director
Paul trained in practice with BDO Stoy Hayward, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. Paul's principal client experience within practice was with a large variety of growing enterprises, both private and public on UK and US stock exchanges. Paul has worked closely with the U4EA Technologies, Ltd., team since its inception in June 1999 while with BDO Stoy Hayward and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on December 1, 2000. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of East Anglia.
