U4EA Technologies Announces Availability of its Fusion 420 Multi-Service Business Gateway
Product Delivers Unified Communications with T1/E1 WAN Interface

FREMONT, CA – January 22, 2008 – U4EA Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of integrated access technology for converged communications, today announced it has released its Fusion 420 Multi-Service Business Gateway (MSBG) for general availability. The Fusion 420 comes equipped with four ethernet LAN interfaces, two FXO ports and a T1 or E1 WAN interface, and integrates U4EA’s patented QoS (GoS™) and dual power supplies for added quality and reliability.

The Fusion 420 addresses the growing demand for an integrated access device that enables small-to-medium businesses and enterprises to combine their voice, data and real-time IP communications from a service provider utilizing a single Fusion edge device.

"The Fusion 420 addresses a robust market where service providers are delivering VoIP and unified communications with T1 or E1 as the preferred WAN access delivery technology," said Jim Greenway, VP of Marketing and Products at U4EA. "We have many customers and prospects that are interested in our Fusion 420 because it offers superior VoIP and data performance with our patented QoS (GoS), added reliability, and a price that is well below the nearest competitor."

U4EA continues to rapidly expand its next generation MSBG product portfolio. The Fusion Series currently consists of three families of products. The Fusion 200 and 400 series combine the functions of a router, switch, firewall, IDS, session controller, VoIP Gateway, QoS and OA\&M into one device. The Fusion 1000 Series was introduced in December of 2007, and is a family of signaling gateways that carriers and service providers utilize for addressing legacy and next generation protocol conversion.

According to In-Stat/Wainhouse Research, the unified communications market will experience a compound annual growth rate of nearly 25% over the next five years, with very high growth rates in both broadband IP telephony and hosted VoIP. The firm estimates the entire UC market will grow to $24.2 billion by 2012.

The Fusion 420 is being offered at an introductory promotional price through the end of the first quarter. For more information, contact .
