U4EA Technologies Announces FusionView 700 Element Management System
FusionView Helps Service Providers Economically Manage Tens to Thousands of Fusion MSBG Devices
VON.x Conference & Expo, San Jose, CA – March 18, 2008 – U4EA Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of integrated access technology for converged communications, today announced its FusionView 700 Element Management System (EMS). FusionView allows converged networks to easily and economically scale by centralizing the configuration, management and monitoring of voice and data traffic. FusionView is especially valuable to hosted service providers, giving them the ability to cost effectively manage tens, hundreds or thousands of U4EA Fusion Multi-service Business Gateways (MSBGs) as they scale their Unified Communications (UC) or Voice over IP (VoIP) networks.
FusionView is a critical component for service providers and enterprises looking for faster installation and troubleshooting, together with better monitoring and management of VoIP call quality. FusionView reduces installation, configuration and trouble call resolution times, resulting in significant operational cost savings. FusionView helps service providers and enterprises deploy Fusion devices in quantity and immediately begin monitoring performance and ensuring trouble-free operation of their unified communications service.
"FusionView addresses a market need for scalability, simplified monitoring and troubleshooting, and comprehensive reporting," said Jim Greenway, VP of marketing and products at U4EA. "In today’s highly competitive environment, our service provider customers and prospects need to increase their revenue and lower their operating cost. FusionView gives them the tools they need to guarantee the customer's quality of experience. This reduces their customer turnover and increases ROI by reducing the time required for technicians to configure, install and troubleshoot service issues."
U4EA continues to rapidly expand its next generation MSBG product portfolio and related offerings. The Fusion Series currently consists of three families of products. The Fusion 200 and 400 series combine the functions of a router, switch, firewall, IDS, session controller, VoIP Gateway, QoS and OA&M into one device. The Fusion 1000 Series is a family of signaling gateways that carriers and service providers utilize for addressing legacy and next generation protocol conversion.
According to In-Stat/Wainhouse Research, the unified communications market will experience a compound annual growth rate of nearly 25% over the next five years, with very high growth rates in both broadband IP telephony and hosted VoIP. The firm estimates the entire UC market will grow to $24.2 billion by 2012.
FusionView is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2008. For more information, contact sales@u4eatech.com.
